As allowed by French law (article 6, III, 2° of the law of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy), the publisher has chosen to remain anonymous: their name and address have been given to the hosting provider below. What this site is

A purely informative site: no advertising, no affiliate links, nothing for sale, and no financial link or partnership with any of the breeders listed. Content is compiled from public sources listed on the Sources page. Health information is general and does not replace a vet. Breeder profiles only use information published by the breeders themselves or by public registries, and the “transparency level” describes what we could verify online, not the quality of the kennel. Any breeder can ask for their profile to be corrected or removed through the contact form.

Personal data

• Contact form: your name, email address, message and IP address (to prevent abuse) are used only to reply to you, read by the publisher alone, stored on the host’s server in France and deleted after 12 months.
• Attached photos: resized and stripped of their metadata (including GPS location), then sent by email to the publisher. They are not stored on the server. By sending them, you confirm you took them and allow their publication with the credit of your choice. You can withdraw this permission at any time.
• Breeder profiles: business information that breeders publish themselves or that appears in public registries, collected to inform future owners (legitimate interest). Any breeder or person concerned can ask for correction or removal, or object to publication: requests are handled within one month.
• Your rights: access, correction, deletion and objection through the contact form. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
• Cookies: none for visitors, and no third-party service (fonts are hosted on the site). Only your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser.
• Audience measurement: the site counts its visits with its own tool, hosted on its server. For each page viewed it records the page address, language, referring site, device type (computer, mobile or tablet) and an anonymous fingerprint, recalculated every day from a random secret that is then deleted. Your IP address is never stored and you are never tracked from one day to the next. These statistics are not shared or combined with other data, and are deleted after 25 months. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, your visit is not counted.
